Virtual 3d modeling and rendering

Virtual Reality has opened new doors in visualizing everything from engineering to healthcare. VR technology can communicate advanced concepts more efficiently and with a high degree of realism like never before possible. We have been using 3d modeling and rendering for tradeshow booth illustration and can take that one step further into VR putting you within that space.  This gives you the ability to literally walk around in your conceptual environment giving you an extraordinary sense of scale and spacial relationship. Conceptual objects, such as CAD-created engineered parts, can be picked up and examined from all angles. Custom textures and lighting can be applied to models giving you the ability to examine different approaches to applications such as interior design.

Currently, VR is available with a phone-based Head Mounted Display or a dedicated system such as the HTC Vive.  The Vive system creates a fully immersive experience, complete with room scan navigation. Both systems have their advantages and can be utilized depending on your needs.

Point-of-Purchase

Full-scale mock-ups of displays showcase your products exactly as they would appear in a store setting.

Trade Show

Step into a virtual mock-up for your next trade show booth and explore the fully rendered space before the construction even begins.

Engineering

Custom engineered parts and assemblies can be placed and then manipulated in VR providing a better understanding of physical dimensions and function.

Architectural Rendering

Put on a VR headset and experience architectural spaces first hand to better understand how they flow.

Virtual Reality has already established applications in architectural and medical visualization, gaming, and virtual travel, but new areas are opening up as the markets explore the benefits of VR.

Point-Of-Purchase Displays

New point-of-purchase concepts can be fully modeled and viewed to scale in the VR environment. The concepts can be visualized more comprehensively and changes can be make to avoid addition tooling costs. Changing element scale and position, colors, and even lighting effects can save a lot of development time.

Engineering

VR allows three dimension viewing of CAD concepts like never before. Engineering parts and assemblies can be imported into VR prior to prototyping to gain a better understanding of the geometry before investing the time of 3D prototyping. Models can be fully interactive and sized to any scale. Large assembles, such as cranes or heavy equipment, can be examined to scale in VR to visualize like never before. Conceptual plant layouts can be presented to scale with interactive walk-throughs creating dynamic presentation possibilities.

Architectural

Being able to place viewers into a virtual representation of a new home, commercial or public space is a powerful way to experience a proposed architectural design. Detail can be added as needed, from simple massing shapes to represent the spacial relationships to fully textured environments.

Trade Show Displays

What better way to experience the full impact of your trade show booth than standing in a virtual prototype? Using 3d modeling and rendering to assess areas that need improvement, maximize traffic flow, product placement and graphic impact will save you time and money.

3D Captures

Real world objects can be scanned three dimensionally and sculpted inside the computer. The resulting mesh can then be brought into various VR applications to create dynamic 3D presentations. These presentations can be experienced in VR or the VR interface can be used to create video footage for import into presentation applications. The adjacent video illustrates raw scans being turned into refined meshes. In this example the mesh was imported into Tilt Brush to achieve the animation.
